Working Together for Safe, Healthy, and Supportive Schools

Welcome to the 2026–27 school year! The Safety and Wellness Committee is committed to helping our district create and maintain learning environments where every student, staff member, and school community member feels safe, supported, and ready to thrive.

Our committee brings together voices, perspectives, and expertise from across our school community to identify opportunities, address concerns, review current practices, and develop practical solutions that strengthen safety and well-being throughout the district.

2026–27 Focus Areas

This year, the committee will explore several timely topics that impact our schools and communities:

• Technology Usage
  Promoting responsible, safe, and effective use of technology across our school community.

• Instructional Technology Use Framework  
  Supporting the development of a District Instructional Technology Use Framework.

• Emergency Site Safety
  Reviewing and strengthening emergency preparedness, response procedures, and safety practices at our school sites.

All meetings are held from 3:30–4:30 p.m. at the District Office.
